Youtube pays quite a large amount of revenue to its creators. Today I want to talk about How Much Money Does a Small YouTube Channel Make on a monthly bases and I am going to talk to someone who has 9000 subscribers with almost 400k views.
I talk to @Desi in Wonderland about his YouTube channel and how much money he earns on YouTube with a channel with 9000 subscribers. We talk about his motivation and what things one should consider while making a YouTube channel
When and why did Jibran start his channel
Jibran started his youtube Journey to help others. He made videos on topics which were important for Expats living in Germany and he chose those topics based on His and his Friends expereinces.
Jibran got his channel monitized in 10 months. And he says that about 6 to 12 months is an average amount of time to get monitized on youtube.
Tips from Jibran on making a successful youtube channel
- Make videos on High search topics
- Select Trendy topics
- Those topics which you are passionate in
- Consistency is key
- There is a Warm up period after which YouTube recommends your content to its viewers
Moving on to earnings from youtube, I asked Jibran How much does youtube pay you having 8000 subscribers on your channel. On that his response was that youtube adsense along with affiliate marketing made him about 250€ to 300€ per month which Is not a very high amount considering the amount of effort he puts in the research of a video, video production and editing and video promotion, so considering How Much Money Does a Small YouTube Channel Make it is definitely not recommended to make Youtube a full time job unless you earn far more than that.
I have another video and article with Jibran where we discuss Creating a business and Passive income in Germany .
