Learn how to transfer crypto from eToro trading platform to the new eToro Money wallet. Today I will talk about eToro Money Wallet , supported cryptocurrencies and I will also show you how to transfer crypto from eToro money Wallet.
I have been using eToro since the a couple of months now, and as eToro is present in many countries their services vary from Region to Region.
For example eToro has their trading platform, their money wallet and eToroX which is their crypto exchange some services might be available in your Country some not!
eToroX is available in many countries, and here in Germany it is not available so I cannot test it for you guys.
eToro Money wallet was previously known as just eToro wallet and they renamed it just a few weeks ago. On the official support page, they say that it supports 120+ Cryptocurrencies, but again it depends I think on your country. For example in Germany and many other countries you can only transfer Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum,Litecoin, Bitcoin cash and Stellar out of eToro trading platform.
In the countries where eToroX is available you can transfer from the eToro crypto Money wallet to the eToro exchange as well
Now even if you are transferring a supported crypto there are many things you need to consider.
Like the minimum transferable amount of that crypto and the transaction limit among many others which I have discussed in details in my article on eToro money crypto wallet problems solved . So if you have an issue with transferring a crypto I have most likely discussed in this there already.
But even if you transfer the correct amount of a supported crypto biggest issue is the mode of payment you used when purchasing the crypto. If you bought the crypto using any other method than wire transfer or bank transfer you will most likely have to wait between 60 to 180 day depending on your eToro club level before you are eligible to transfer
You can download the eToro money wallet for the app store or play store. Once you install it you can access the wallet using the same log in credentials as your main eToro account so go ahead and log in.
So the first time you log in you will not see any wallets, to add a wallet simply click the plus icon and click add to create a wallet for the crypto.
The transfer crypto from the trading platform to the eToro crypto money wallet is just one way so if you transfer from the eToro trading platform to the eToro money wallet you cannot transfer it back to thetrading platform! For those countries which have eToroX they can further transfer from the eToro money wallet to eToroX to sell or convert the crypto but if your country does not have eToroX you will need to send your crypto to another exchange to sell or convert it. To transfer crypto first you need to go to the eToro trading app, select the crypto you want to transfer. Here you can check if your crypto is eligible for transfer or not. As you can see here transfer is not available for my investment meaning that i cannot transfer this crypto into my eToro money wallet.
I have an article where I show you How to transfer bitcoin from Etoro app into a wallet. The transfer from eToro trading platform to the eToro money wallet itself can take between 2 to 7 business day so just keep that in mind!
Once you receive the crypto in your eToro crypto money wallet you can either send it to the eToroX if eligible, you can send it to another exchange or you can even send it to exodus, I personally prefer Exodus which has an amazing app. You can read my article How to transfer from etoro to exodus if you want to transfer to an external wallet from eToro.
