What are the requirements for transferring crypto from eToro to eToro Money crypto wallet?
‘Crypto Transfer’ refers to an action of withdrawing crypto from the eToro platform to the eToro Money crypto wallet. A guide on how to transfer your crypto can be found here.
Crypto transfer is not available in all countries. Only BUY (long) positions that are backed by real crypto (not CFDs) can be transferred to the crypto wallet.
If you are a new eToro user and deposit via credit / debit card, PayPal or Sofort (Klarna), there may be restrictions on the timing and amount of your crypto transfers. There is a waiting period during which your remaining equity (your equity excluding the value of the crypto you want to transfer) cannot be lower than the amount you deposited via this payment method. Once the waiting period is over, you may transfer crypto positions of any amount. And that waiting period is generally 60 days.
